Baomo Scenery, Guangzhou

#5 of 43 in Historic Sites in Guangzhou
Historic Walking Area · Hidden Gem · Historic Site
Baomo Scenery contains waterfalls, small arched bridges, and flower gardens, but its most impressive attraction remains Qingming Festival by the Riverside, a huge inverted porcelain relief recognized as the world's longest brocade. The vast garden area also features distinct traditional architecture and garden arts--see brick, pottery, and porcelain sculptures scattered across the park accompanied by elegant stone and wood carvings. Feed koi fishes in the emerald green lakes embellished with lotus flowers. Stroll around the rose and orchid garden and wander through the magical Purple Bamboo Woods. The site is also home to a bronze statue of Confucius at the Treasure Pavilion.
