Watch green crabs and look for seashells at Khor Ambado Beach, a long stretch of brown sand gently sloping into the water. Sheltered in a small cove just past a French military base, the family-friendly beach includes shaded beach chairs and tables. Clear waters and a diverse marine life provide good snorkeling, and you can safely swim in the calm sea. During low tide, wade through the water to examine a shipwreck lying in the shallows. Yes, you can have a day off and enjoy this cool beach. It is at some distance from Djibouti and road leading to it is very difficult, you need to compulsory have a 4X4 with you to reach over there. more »

Not so far from Djibouti but not wonderful. Coule be a good place to share a lunch with friends. Be careful to havé à 4 wheel drive to go there. more »
