Built for the princess granddaughter of King Nangklao in 1846, Wat Ratchanatdaram Woravihara (Loha Prasat) represents one of the few brazen palaces in existence (so called for the bronze roof). You will recognize the structure by its 37 metal spires rising from the roof of the multi-level building. Explore the interiors while reading quotes of virtue on the walls, and take a moment to wander the maze-like second floor. Continue to the top for breathtaking views of Bangkok. • I didn't think that the visit to Loha Prasat would have made such a tremendous impression. A 20Thb entrance donation allowed my guilt free passage through the inner sanctum of these venerable...

  • The temple has a lot of stories to tell; but the best one is being able to come inside and experience every detail of every floor of the building. Its history was very informative and the vibe inspires one to be simple. Its a very quiet place, not a lot of tourist for a Saturday afternoon.
  • A must see temple if you are in the area for only 20 baht entrance fee. It was not crowded when we were there so it was very peaceful. There are many different floors so you can walk around for a while and get a great view of the city from the top
