  • We came here to find a certain geocache, and enjoyed strolling through the calm, fresh greenness. This is where many Hanoi folk come to do the same - exercise groups, runners, families. A few animals....  more »

  • Really nice parc with some majestic trees more than 130 years old. There are a lot of shades so it is perfect for a 30min walk after or before lunch. You could stay longer and bring your kids because there is a playground for them to enjoy in a safe environment when you walk around. You can park your scooter inside the park too. The only drawback was the monkey cage... We can totally see it is too small and not well maintained and it is affecting their mindset... It's heartbreaking to see such intelligent animals treated this way and it doesn't bring any value to the park... They should stop it and exchange this cage with birds, more trees or benches
  • A very nice public park with extensive paths - broad and paved - which are ideal for a leisurely afternoon stroll or a run. There is a small area filled with a lot of outdoor gym equipment, and badminton courts which have been marked onto some of the paved areas. The park is really popular with locals especially on weekends, which isn’t surprising considering the fresher air that circulates here among the pervasive potted plants, shrubbery, and magnificent trees which crowd around the two ponds and edges of the garden. It really is quite beautiful and atmospheric watching badminton pairs matching up. The only disconcerting thing is the pea hen and peacock incarcerated into a tiered and circular cage. Really tragic, but maybe they’re there for their own protection.
