Ha Linh Thu's original Vietnamese fashion venture, PearlHa (the River of Pearl), was launched in 2001 while Ha Linh Thu was working with the Labor Newspaper as a graphic designer.

PearlHa enjoyed a new horizon of popularity in Hanoi on the merit of its uniquely inspiring design and style, which was achieved by a blend of traditional material and modern-day fashion.

In 2005, Linh Thu made a decisive move to sell the brand PearlHa and embark on new ventures in creativity and self-growth.

That same year she bid farewell to her graphic design position at the newspaper and dedicated her full time, energy and desire to fashion.

2006, brought the development of a new, self-named brand: HALINHTHU

The HALINHTHU flagship shop is on Hang Trong street in a busy tourist section of Hanoi. There is also a workshop and studio at Xuan Dieu street.
