Despite having no indoor competition in the whole city, Vietclimb is not idle in its pursuit for a fantastic bouldering experience. It's got some of the best problems I've climbed indoors and with a..... more »
Really nice bouldering gym with clearly graded problems and dual language safety notices in both Vietnamese and English. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and there are a range of memberships from day passes to different types of extended memberships, including a happy hours one month pass from 9-5pm. There are lockers for personal items, a few showers should you really need it, and shoes for rental and sale. I bought a new pair of footwear for around 1.6 million VND, after being offered the opportunity to try on three pairs. Very nice !
It's not about climbing here, it's all about your money. However nice the climbing may be there or with them, their attitude (especially the owner's) is a total turn-off. If you love rock climbing, go to Cat Ba island where everyone, including businesses, care about your safety the most.
