Landmark · Hidden Gem · Tourist Spot
At the foot of a mountain and surrounded by tall trees, Sung Hung Pagoda remains one of the oldest religious structures on the island. Probably erected in the 10the century, the shrine was renovated twice in the 20th century. Despite the many changes made to it over the years, the site seems to retain much of its old-fashioned atmosphere and look. The elaborate and colorful altar, topped with several Buddha statues and set against a "flying dragon" painting, dominates the main hall. Sung Hung Pagoda is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , custom trip planner Edition.
