Create an itinerary including Mehtab Bagh
Take a stroll around Mehtab Bagh, a Persian-style garden complex sitting directly opposite the Taj Mahal. Separated from the famous building by a river, the garden reflects the same idea that the spiritual resides in the symmetrical. This particular layout, called a charbagh, involves the division of the ground into four smaller parts with water features and walkways. The pleasant garden also offers a good view of the cultural wonder opposite, often with fewer people obstructing your photos than at the building's front. Take a look at our Agra trip itinerary app to schedule your visit to Mehtab Bagh and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • Great views of the Taj without any crowds. But the park has poor access. Parking is bit far, you might want to take a battery operated rickshaw. Park is poorly maintained. A wasted opportunity

  • Nice place . Building is beautiful and one must visit. On the bank of Yamuna river and it is calm view of river. Feel the garden should have flowers all around.

  • It's a good place for summer 💗 view was grt.
  • We went on a partially Cloudy day.. so the moon wasn't visible. The Taj view from here is best seen in moonlight. So I'd suggest you to visit on a full moon night. But then again, pollution in Agra so bad that there's smog engulfing the city almost always. So, i guess it's up to luck and Fate if you get seen the Taj in a moonlit setting.
