Explore the grandiose walls of Jaigarh Fort, an 18th-century stronghold known for being the home of the world’s largest cannon on wheels. Named after its founder, Jai Singh II, who constructed the fortress on a jutting hill to overlook and protect the Amber Fort, the fortress' twin buildings are connected via underground tunnels. Visit the armory, admire the massive cannon, or enjoy views of Amber Fort from the red sandstone walls. It is very spacious and large fort and needs considerable amount of energy, time and patience to roam around. Guides are available with fixed rates. It will take at-least 2-3hrs for checking out all major parts of the fort. Better not to go in a hurry schedule like 1hr or 1hr30min. in hand if you want to explore completely. The second most important fort to visit in Jaipur, this fort was built mainly to protect the Amber fort. The main attraction here is the Jaivana Cannon which was the world's largest cannon at the time of its manufacture and it was fired only once. The fort offers a beautiful view of the surroundings from the top. One hour is sufficient to visit the fort and photography is permitted.

A historical place which don't need much of the introduction.. coming here since I was a kid so have lots of memories here.. it's a fort and was used during wars.. you can reach here through private vehicle or rented one directly through road.. it's also internally connected with Amber fort.. parking space is ample.. this place is big so roming around here in summers especially with kids can be challenging... Entry charge as of June 2022 is Rs 150 for adults and 75 for kids.. you can take your car inside fort with additional Rs 100.. hiring guide is your choice though there is nothing much and especially there is no maze where you will lost ... So chill and enjoy the visit.. here you will get the best view of Amber fort.. this place is heaven in rainy seasons..
